Student computer network

The operation of the network, its organization and administration, connection conditions and sanctions are governed by the Administration Organization and principles for the use of the student dormitory computer network, which every user of the network undertakes to comply with, as well as by the JU Rector's Measure on the Use of Computers, Computer Networks and Software at the University of South Bohemia . In all dormitories it is possible to connect with a cable. University Wi-Fi is also available on the K1 and K5 dormitories from the ground floor to the 3rd floor.

• Accommodated in JU dormitories (signed contract).
• Your own technical equipment equipped with a suitable network card and cable.

• Plug the device you want to connect in your room into the data socket in your room.
• Log in to the ISKAM application at the web address koleje.jcu.cz
• In the Accommodation tab, submit a Request for Internet - fill in the form according to the instructions.
• Your request will be processed within 20 minutes, after which you need to restart your device.

• Student or employee of JU.
• Your own technical equipment equipped with a suitable Wi-Fi adapter.

• On any device connected to the university network, log into the iDM system and set a password for FreeRadius.
• Search for the Eduroam Wi-Fi network and connect using the set data.
